Direct Access
Can’t get an appointment with your physician? See us first. See us today. In Pennsylvania, you no longer need a prescription from your doctor before seeing a physical therapist. If you are suffering from a musculoskeletal or neuromuscular ailment, you can be evaluated and treated for thirty days by a direct access credentialed physical therapist without a prescription.
Not sure whether your injury is appropriate for physical therapy? Come in and let us evaluate you. Our Therapists are certified through the state as direct access therapists. If your condition is treatable, we will develop a program for you and you can start your recovery today. If it is outside of our scope, we will provide you with the best referral options.
Research shows that direct access to physical therapy saves time and money. Please read the attached summary from the American Physical Therapy Association to learn more. Click here!
Direct access treatment is now covered by most health insurance plans.
